Q: What if I have questions or concerns?
A: If you have any questions regarding handbook, don't hesitate to send
e-mails to editors.

Q: What exactly do you understand under an "extended abstract"?
A: The extended abstract could be an abstract with rough hints what is new
and will be rewritten and updated.

Q: About the color figures.
A: We ask all the contributions with necessary color figures to prepare also
a set of corresponding figures in grey scale. The color set is definitely
needed for the ebook version and the grey set maybe needed
for the hardcopy. This means you may also need to modify some of your
descriptions (or legends) on your related figures. We apologize for the
inconveniences brought to you.

Q: About the English editing.
A: Springer does not provide English editor for CSC2. Authors should find
your own English editor if there is the need. The editors reserve the right
though to amend the language when necessary.
¡@
Q: About cross references.
A: The editors will implement cross references for the chapters when we have
the final list of contributions.

Q: What is an UPDATE of your chapter?
A: By a UPDATE we mean (1) an update of references, (2) a refresh of your
graphics (most importantly) or/and (3) the brand new material. We would be
happy to include also movies and other dynamic elements which you can
propose us since we are in contact with Springer about inclusion of such
epub elements. We would then have an e-version of the book parallel to the
classic hardcopy paper version. The e-version would be of course IPAD or
other mobile devices compatible.

Q: What is an REWRITE of your chapter?
A: By a REWRITE we mean not only an update of references but also and most
importantly a refresh of your graphics. We would be happy to include also
movies and other dynamic elements which you can propose us since we are in
contact with Springer about inclusion of such epub elements. We would then
have an e-version of the book parallel to the classic hardcopy paper
version. The e-version would be of course IPAD or other mobile devices
compatible.
Q: What are the contents of CSC2?
A: The chapters of CSC2 are divided into three categories: the
updated, the rewrite, and the new ones. The first two were originally
contained in CSC. The second edition of CSC intend to include more advanced
data visualization techniques and software development.
Q: About the deadlines of submission?
A: The deadlines for submission are the same for all chapters. Though
I hope authors can submit their update/rewrite chapters earlier, so that we
can proceed to the review earlier.
